My name is Jaclyn Gordon and I Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist in New York, specializing in evidence-based, client-centered care. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Cortland and my doctorate in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University. Through my work in different settings, I have come to understand that each individual is unique, therefore I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs and goals of my clients. Drawing from extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, positive psychology, and exposure-based therapies, I strive to create a supportive and collaborative space for growth and healing.
I have developed expertise in treating anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, specific phobias, and selective mutism. I also deeply enjoy and find great success in working with adult clients navigating significant life transitions, such as relationship challenges, family dynamics, grief and loss, and career changes.
If you’re seeking compassionate and personalized care for yourself or a loved one, I invite you to schedule a free consultation to explore how together, we can achieve lasting well-being.
